AKIT: Russians save 380 bln rbl with e-com loyalty projs in 2022

MOSCOW, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Russians saved 380 billion rubles thanks to loyalty programs of online retailers in 2022, twice the 2021 volume, the Russian Online Retail Association (AKIT) said on Tuesday in a statement.

“In essence, the companies made this contribution to their teamwork with the government to retain prices for buyers, which resulted in high sales of businessmen without the necessity of cutting prices of their goods,” AKIT said.

Despite the difficulties, all grocery and non-grocery Internet and omni-channel companies not only kept but also developed loyalty programs.
